Stephen with 160 Inches of Bone

Ohio is ranked in the Boone and Crockett and Pope and Young Record Books as the #4 State in the Nation.  IMB Outfitters is also located in East Central, Ohio.

Ohio is as tricky as any State.  You must know what part of the State of Ohio to venture to.  While you will find outfitters all over Ohio the two highest producing and densest populated whitetail counties in Ohio are Coshocton, Tuscarawas, and Guernsey.  THE GOLDEN TRIANGLE OF OHIO is located in Coshocton, Guernsey, and Tuscarawas Counties.

Bottomline.  Anything less is a compromise on your Ohio whitetail hunt.  IMB Outfitters Owner, Darrin Bradley states, “We are dedicated to making certain that our Ohio Division is the best in the entire State.”

Firearms Hunts: The State of Ohio mandates shotguns or muzzleloading hunting.  Rifles are not permitted in Ohio.  Also a hunter may use a handgun with 5-inch minimum length barrel, using straight-walled cartridges .357 caliber or larger, or longbow, crossbow (draw weight limitations same as for Archery Season). Shotguns cannot be capable of holding more than three shells.   Tags are purchased over the internet and guaranteed to obtain.

Tags are sold in a manner by which one buys a  hunting non resident annual license, and in addition you have to buy a hunting deer permit.

Archery Hunts  (CROSSBOW or BOW HUNTING ALLOWED): In Ohio, you have options during the archery season. During Ohio's archery season you may use a bow OR a crossbow.  Ohio lays claim to some of the best archery hunting in the World.  A quick glance in the Boone and Crockett and Pope and Young Record Books would reflect that fact.   Our hunt areas are 70% timber with agricultural fields of clover, corn, alfalfa, etc.  Some of the most beautiful ground in the World, and known for its Dairy Farming.  As you well know some of the largest deer ever taken in the nation have come from Ohio.  Tags are sold in a manner by which one buys a  hunting non resident annual license, and in addition you have to buy a hunting deer permit.  Season dates for archery are Sept 24th to Feb 5th of 2012.

Muzzleloader Hunts:  Ohio offers muzzleloader only hunting season.   Tags are sold in a manner by which one buys a  hunting non resident annual license and in addition, you have to buy a hunting deer permit.

Success Rates: We calculate success rates by dividing the number of trophy buck or 125 inch buck shot opportunities reported by our hunters, by the number of hunters we take each year in that particular state. Please refer to the success rates page for the latest information.  NOTE: No promise or guaranteed shots at trophy bucks are made by IMB Outfitters

Ohio Location: Our Ohio deer hunting is located in Newcomers, Ohio. The closest airport would be Akron, Ohio which is 60 minutes away from camp.  Those traveling by motor vehicle may obtain a detailed map from our “trip information” page.

Ohio Lodge: Currently, we utilize a local hotel with meal tickets at the finest restaurants in the area.

In Ohio we offer fully guided hunts of your choice at the following cost per hunter. NOTE: HUNT PRICES ARE INCLUSIVE OF MEALS AND LODGING

Our fully guided hunting trips are hunts wherein stands are hung by IMB Staff prior to your arrival, guides walk you to the stands to assure you will find the treestand setups and ambush sites, IMB staff will transport you to the farm, field dressing of your deer is done by an IMB Guide, your guide will drag out the animal you harvest, and prepare your animal for taxidermy and meat processing, hero photos, etc. On fully guided deer hunts, the guide doesn’t sit with you while you hunt but, he walks you to and from the stand and takes care of you during your stay to strategize on a trophy whitetail harvest. Thorough examinations of strategies and treestand assignments are performed on your behalf to assure you receive the highest quality service. Guides also scout trophy whitetail deer both prior, and during your hunt in an effort to keep you on the hottest ambush sites available. Great lodges, great food included!

SINGLE STATE PASS :  IMB has devised a Single State Pass.  This has been done upon popular request by hunters.  A Single State Pass provides the hunter with unlimited hunt access year round for both turkey and whitetail deer hunting.  In essence a hunter who purchases a Single State Pass can hunt that State as much as he or she desires.  Full year round unlimited access.  For example if a hunter would purchase a Missouri State Pass then the hunter can hunt Missouri for turkey and deer year round with unlimited access.  Hunt all year long on an unlimited basis in any of our 5 States.  Of course in Missouri the hunter could harvest an 2 bucks, unlimited does, and 4 turkeys.  The State Pass provides a bonanza of unlimited hunting for one low price.  The Single State Pass is much cheaper than a land lease and provides as much hunting as any hunter could imagine.  In Illinois a hunter can harvest 2 bucks and 2 turkeys.  In Iowa a hunter can harvest 1 buck and 1 turkey.  In Ohio a hunter can harvest 1 bucks and 2 turkeys.  In Kansas a hunter can harvest 1 bucks and 2 turkeys.  The State Pass is the ultimate budget cut for the serious whitetail enthusiast as the cost is less than 2 hunts. COST:  $7000
